Tourism Scholars' Confusion About the Locus of Causality and Locus of Control Theories

Tourists’ behavior has caused unprecedented studies to understand it. However, recent literature exposed the fragility of understanding and reviewing tourist attribution, especially those established on locus dimension. The dimension how tourists assign responsibilities tourism events, whether internal and/or external causes. is confused while utilizing Tourism scholars mix between causality (LOC) control theories. Both have same abbreviation, but both different approaches. Therefore, current study provides a new theoretical review tendency by applying concept, namely personal traits (LOPT), with measurement items for (LOPT). revealed that, far from rhetoric occasionally linked control, using will mitigate substantial gap.
